SONGS: I think I love, Unstoppable, Half Asleep

Q: What was the inspiration for this song?

I wrote 'I Think I Love' heading home on the 433 bus to Glebe, when I was in the midst of an is-it-on, is-it-off, blurred lines relationship. I think both me and her were enjoying being independent, but still kept ending up together all the time. The song is about exploring that space in between on and off....'I Think I Love'. In retrospect, it wasn't a matter of thinking... I knew I was in love. I must have been playing coy haha.

Q: How is this related to 600 Bottles of Wine?

think it goes hand in hand...! They're both about navigating the nuance of dating in Sydney in 2018.

Q: What's your drink of choice when creating music?

During the day I run on soy lattes and peppermint teas. At night it's a coffee stout or a whiskey.

Q: Favourite movie/TV series soundtrack & why?

Oh man! That's a tough call. I'm going to have to go with Stranger Things, the mu-sic supervision is superb. Everything just feels so analog. just brings you into that time, and that unique world. Other stand outs from the last few years would be Master of None, and the Trainspotting sequel.

Q: What is the best song to match with a bold red wine?

My pick for a bold red right now would be 'Charlotte's Thong' By Connan Mockasin. It's brand new and smooth as hell. Damn it's sexy music.
